Code Builder in Minecraft: Education Edition March 22, 2022, 23:29 Updated A coding experience is now available in-game as Code Builder rather than using an app separately (Code Connection). Games Players will be able to start Code Builder using C if you are using keyboard or mouse or click the agent icon beside chat or pause at the top of the screen while on touch and the following screen will be displayed. Agent Improvements (Code Builder) - Use /summon agents to create or move agents to you. - There are two new command selectors that you can use to control the agent to control your agent: @c for your agent and @v for all agents. Only worldbuilders are able to target all agents. All users will default have wordbuilder permissions set false. You can remove agents from the globe using selectors. For instance /remove@c to delete your agent, and /remove@v remove all agents. `/remove @e` will also remove all entities and all agents, except other people's agents if the person running the commands isn't a worldbuilder - The usual type filters can also be used to target particular agents, so `/tp @e[type=Agent,name=Steve.Agent] @s` for instance would look through all entities for those of type agent whose name is Steve.Agent and teleport them to you. For more of a shorthand you can use /tp @v[name=Steve.Agent] @s` to target a specific agent that isn't your own - There's also the agent egg that spawns, which gives you an easy method of summoning or move the agent to you by using it as you would any other egg Additional Notes - MakeCode users need to be sure and save and export their MakeCode project files. The browser will clear its cache and all files will be deleted. Code.org Scratch and the in-game Code Builder will no longer be accessible. These IDEs can be used in conjunction with the Code Connection app. - /code does not is working and the Agent detect up/down does not work properly with half blocks with Code Builder - The separate app that is a companion to Code Connection is still compatible with Minecraft: Education Edition and Minecraft Bedrock Edition - All users begin with Worldbuilder permissions set to false
